James Olan Hutcheson

is the Managing Partner and Founder of ReGENERATION Partners, a consulting/advisory firm devoted exclusively to increasing shareholder wealth and improving communication within family-owned and managed businesses. Jim has over 25 years of hands-on experience with family firms, including 19 years with his own high-growth family business, Olan Mills Studios. In addition to degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and an MBA, Jim serves as an advisor or director to numerous business and professional enterprises.

Jim has been featured in numerous media including the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Success, Inc., Nations Business, as well as the AP wire service, business journals, and daily newspapers throughout North America. He is author of Portraits of Success - 9 Keys to Sustaining Value in Any Business (Dearborn Publishers).


Michael Cofield Ph.D., ABPP

is the Director of Behavioral Medicine for Sun Health in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Cofield is a Board Certified psychologist and Diplomat with over 25 years of experience working with individuals and families. He has an extensive background in organizational, family business, aging, and executive coaching in the areas of emotional intelligence and effective communication. He is a frequent speaker and is the author of Integrated Cognitive Restructuring: A Brief Protocol for Depression, Anxiety, and other Emotional Disorders


Carl Westcott

In April 2003 Carl Westcott was honored during an Inaugural Ceremony at the United States Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. by receiving the 2003 Horatio Alger Award. Since 1947 the Horatio Alger Award has been bestowed upon only 576 honorees - people of exceptional character worthy of the highest recognition for career achievement in America.

Westcott's outstanding career began with the acquisition of a small Chevrolet dealership in 1967 in Tallulah, Louisiana. By 1979 Westcott owned and operated 17 franchised dealerships. In 1974 Westcott formed First Extended Service Corporation becoming the world's originator of extended automotive service agreements. After a challenging hotel-bound attempt to send flowers to his wife in 1979, he acquired the telephone number 1-800-FLOWERS and built a business around linking florists across the US.

In 1986 Westcott founded KETK, the NBC television station in Tyler, Texas and the Automotive Satellite Television Network. Westcott's impressive track record at ASTN earned him the distinction of "Entrepreneur of the Year" in 1988, as awarded by the prestigious Arthur M. Young Society.

Expanding into 27 other interactive distance learning applications, ASTN evolved into Westcott Communications. Westcott Communications experienced explosive growth and Westcott took the company public in 1989. Revenue growth continued at a 29% average annual rate from 1991 until 1996 when he sold Westcott Communications to a unit of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR).

Carl and his wife Jimmy are well-recognized philanthropists and involved community volunteers. He serves or has served on various boards, including: First USA Bank, The Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. The aptly named Westcott Foundation provides assistance to underprivileged children, while the Westcott Pro-Am funds inner-city golf programs to provide relief from poverty and a positive experience to those less fortunate. Westcott's significant contributions to children's interests have been honored by distinguished recognition of the highest order, including the 1999 Byron Nelson Award.


Pamela Radsch

Pamela Radsch, a 22 year veteran of the insurance industry, is a Vice President of HUB International Personal Insurance and western region practice leader for their Private Client Advisors group. Prior to their acquisition by HUB in 2005, Pamela held a similar position at PLI Brokerage, Inc., a national property casualty firm focused exclusively on risk management and insurance placement for individuals and families.

Pamela's focus for the past decade has been on personal risk management and insurance programs for the affluent including an expertise in the Family Office and Wealth Managers arena. Pamela has partnered with numerous financial planner and wealth advisors over the years to provide risk management reviews for their clients.

A regular speaker at Family Office, Wealth Management and Insurance Industry Conferences, her professional affiliations include memberships in the Family Office Exchange, Institute for Private Investors and she currently serves as a board member of the Family Firm Institute.

A fifth generation Californian, Pamela received an undergraduate degree in Psychology and an MBA from the University of California. She is Chairman of the Board of the California Performing Arts Center and is involved in numerous charitable endeavors.


Dirk Jungé

A fourth generation member of the Pitcairn family, Mr. Jungé has been involved in the family office for over 30 years, serving in numerous capacities including investments, marketing, and client services. In 1988, he led the effort within the company to offer the Pitcairn investment services to other wealthy individuals and families. Prior to joining Pitcairn, Mr. Jungé was an investment officer and portfolio manager at Provident National Bank. He received a BS in Economics and Finance from Lehigh University and holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.


Loretta LaRoche, Ph.D.

Loretta LaRoches is an acclaimed PBS star and speaker on stress management. In today's stress-filled world, it takes a gifted presenter like LaRoche to bring the healing power of humor alive for us. Behind her irreverent, unconventional, and just plain funny style, Loretta helps her audiences see "the folly of their ways" and put their lives back in perspective. In addition to the fun and games of her presentation, her work is serious She addresses health care professionals and corporate audiences, focusing on how we have lost sight of what's important in life, and making a convincing case for the health benefits of life with joy and laughter. The Joy of Stress and Humor Your Stress are her highly successful PBS specials. She is an adjunct faculty member for The Behavior Institute of Medicine, an affiliate of Harvard Business School.


Kevin McCauley, M.D.

Dr. McCauley is a 40-year-old physician and the Director of Medical Education at Sober Living By The Sea Treatment Centers in Newport Beach, California. He provides informational lectures to help addicts, their family members, employers and health professionals understand the medical aspects of addiction.

Dr. McCauley graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1992 and joined the Navy to become a Naval Flight Surgeon. After earning his wings at Pensacola, Florida he was assigned to a Marine helicopter squadron (HMH-363; The "Red Lions") at Marine Corps Air Station Tustin in Orange County, California. He cared for the Marines in his squadron and flew missions. After two years, he was transferred to a Marine F/A-18 Hornet squadron known as "The Sharpshooters."

While working as a Flight Surgeon, Dr. McCauley treated pilots with alcoholism, and learned to appreciate the Navy's preventive medicine approach to the problem of alcohol abuse: the Navy allowed pilots to self-report their problem to the squadron Flight Surgeon, receive treatment and return to flying status in a closely monitored setting. Dr. McCauley was impressed with the phenomenal treatment outcome achieved by the Navy's program, and believes that this Occupational Approach to the early identification, treatment and on-going support of patients suffering from addiction problems can benefit all workers.

As a physician, he advocates strongly for the rights of addicts as patients and for their access to humane treatment.


Harold F. Rick Pitcairn, II

Rick's responsibilities include the formulation and oversight of investment policy in client portfolios, the monitoring and selection of outside money managers, and the development of institutional relationships. Prior to joining Pitcairn, he was Chief Investment Officer and Partner at Kaffie, Goodman, & Pitcairn, Inc. Rick received his MBA in Finance from Rice University and his BBA in Accounting from the University of Houston. He also holds the designation of Charted Financial Analyst and is a member of the Financial Analysts of Philadelphia.


Kevin Thomason J.D.

Kevin is a partner with the law firm Thompson & Knight, Dallas, Texas. Mr. Thomason attended, on full scholarship, Oklahoma Christian College and graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Accounting and cum laude from Southern Methodist University's, Dedman School of Law. Mr. Thomason was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1979 and belongs to Alpha Chi; Order of the Coif. Kevin was admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, 1982. Mr. Thomason has served as General Counsel to numerous family enterprises and has represented minority shareholders and family businesses in legal proceedings


Jerry F. White

Mr. White is the Director of the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at SMU's Cox School of Business. In 2005 Entrepreneur Magazine rated the Institute's entrepreneurship program #5 nationally. He is Chairman of the Southwest Venture Forum and co-founder and Chairman of the Dallas 100 Awards. Mr White is the founder and Director of the Cox MBA Venture Fund and is an independent management consultant specializing in entrepreneurial strategy and finance.

He is co-author of The Entrepreneur's Master Planning Guide (Prentice-Hall) and Administering the Closely Held Company (Prentice-Hall). His articles have appeared in Harvard Business Review, the Journal of Small Business Management and other publications.


J. Holt Foster III

Holt Foster's practice focuses on (i) mergers and acquisitions; (ii) private placements, venture capital, and creative financing; (iii) international energy transactions; (iv) oil and gas exploration, development, production, and operations; (v) LNG projects; and (vi) structuring and negotiating high-tech, entertainment, and software transactions. His expertise includes public and private clients in a broad range of industries, both domestically as well as in Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.

Mr. Foster has practical business and entrepreneurial experience through his founding of an international entertainment software publishing company, which subsequently was sold to a publicly traded company. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Foster is the Hiring Partner for Thompson & Knight and serves on a number of civic and charitable boards in the community.
